Send us a sketch, a tech pack, or just a reference. We develop the fabric or choose the cloth with you, cut the pattern, sew the first prototype and fit it. Two or three iterations until it is right. Only then do we talk about production — on demand where the product fits, with minimum quantities where it does not.

Measurements, construction, materials. We validate what is feasible and propose alternatives where they improve the piece.

A garment you like and want to remake better. We study the construction and develop the pattern from it.

CAD pattern-making and a toile fitting where the construction calls for it.

Materials
Chosen from the mill, spinner or knitting-mill book — Portuguese and Italian — with physical swatches in hand. In circular knit, we develop the fabric itself.

First prototype
Sewn in the factory that will produce it, not in a separate sample room.

Fittings
We fit, correct, repeat. Two or three iterations are the norm.

Grading and a check per size before any production.

In certified European factories — on demand or in runs, depending on the product — with a Digital Product Passport available per garment.

Where it makes sense
Developing a model — pattern, prototypes, size set — is an investment that only pays off at the scale of a collection or a team, and we say so openly. Once developed, the model takes the right route for the product: on demand from one piece where the construction allows it, or production with minimum quantities where it does not suit on-demand.

We work in the world of cloth and knit.
We develop both cloth and knit — finishes, functionalities, structures and compositions — and the garment that comes from them, whether tailoring, knitwear or jersey. A tailored jacket can be made in cloth or in knit.
Cloth
Wools, linens and blends from Portuguese mills and European houses such as Vitale Barberis Canonico, Loro Piana, Ermenegildo Zegna, Reda, Solbiati, Carnet, Lanificio Cerruti, Drago, Dormeuil, Holland & Sherry and Piacenza 1733, among others — chosen from the book with swatches in hand, or developed with the mill when the brand needs a finish, a functionality or a composition that does not yet exist. Pattern, construction and lining developed for the brand, fitted in toile and in the first prototype.

Knit
Circular and flat knit, developed in Portugal, where the best circular knits in the world are made. We develop the fabric before the garment — structure, composition, weight and finish, from mercerised cotton to luxury piqué and interlock — with the knitting mills of the North, with samples and colour cards.

Mills, spinners and knitting mills.
We work from the books of Portuguese mills and European houses such as Vitale Barberis Canonico, Loro Piana, Ermenegildo Zegna, Reda, Solbiati, Carnet, Lanificio Cerruti, Drago, Dormeuil, Holland & Sherry and Piacenza 1733, among others; from merino, cotton and cashmere spinners for knitwear; from Portuguese knitting mills for circular knit; and from shirting and outerwear cloths. The physical books travel with the development.

Before we start.
No. A drawing or a reference piece is enough to begin. The tech pack is one of the things we produce during development.
Circular knit, tailoring, knitwear, jersey and uniform programmes. We do not develop footwear. The process is the same; what changes is the materials and the right partner factory for each category.
It depends on the product. Development makes sense at the scale of a collection or a team. Afterwards, the model can enter the platform from one piece if it suits on-demand; if it does not, we produce with minimum quantities agreed at the brief.
Not by default. On-demand is our main model and a developed model can enter the platform from one piece where the construction allows it. Some products do not suit on-demand — much circular knit, for example — and we only produce them with minimum quantities. For an immediate response there is also ready-to-wear from stock.
